I enjoy the life stories that others have to share. I feel everyone should have the opportunity to share their stories. I sometimes feel the senior population is crowded out and silenced.
Regardless of age people have life experiences that they can draw from. In today’s world online therapy is just another tool that can help an individual gain perspective in their own homes. At times it can be hard to get out to go run errands. I look forward to being invited into your home to hope you feel comfortable enough with me to share your innermost thoughts and feelings.
I started life as an LCSW later in life to help US military veterans learn that they can experience a full life. From there I went on to work in the private sector. Since I am knocking on retirements door I feel I can relate to other individuals out there who are trying to make sense of this world.
I am a veteran and wanted to help other veterans find services that could help them in their day-to-day lives. From there, I have moved on to wanting to help as many people as I can.

When I was very young my parents moved our family halfway across the US. After arriving in Oregon my mom felt inspired to take us to a local senior center where we were able to “Adopt” an elderly couple to be our “Grandparents”. I still remember going to visit them and the joy I felt talking with them about life in general. As an adult, I have worked with individuals starting in need of assistance in maneuvering the medical establishment all the way through hospice care and being able to say goodbye and let go.
I firmly believe we all have personal experiences and triumphs in our lives. Mental health is just as important as physical health. I assist people in looking back at their triumphs and trying to use those skills for current and future issues. From there, I like to help individuals look at the way they see the world to see if we can modify it in a way to help them feel better.
I am a husband, father, grandfather, farmer/rancher. I love being a steward of my land and am looking forward to handing it off to the next generation in better shape than I received it in.
