Anxiety Disorders Stress

Tausha Watson is a therapist with a special passion for working with older adults, valuing their wisdom and resilience. She is deeply committed to helping clients navigate grief, life transitions, and health challenges with dignity. Tausha advocates for online therapy to increase accessibility for those with mobility or transportation barriers.

She practices therapy from a trauma-informed, client-centered perspective, focusing on creating a safe and nonjudgmental space for exploration at the client’s own pace. Her integrative approach weaves together somatic practices, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, and CBT to address the mind-body connection, release trauma, and support authentic self-discovery. Tausha believes therapy is a brave, transformative process—not about “fixing” but about deeper connection, curiosity, and becoming more fully oneself.

Outside of her professional role, Tausha is a proud pet mom to a senior dog and two cats. She enjoys yoga, meditating (often with her pets nearby), and watching reality TV. Her philosophy centers on compassion, empowerment, and the understanding that healing is individual and unfolds at each person’s own pace.

Online therapy increases access for older adults who may have mobility challenges, chronic pain, or limited transportation. It allows them to receive consistent support from the comfort of their own home, which can reduce anxiety and increase follow-through with care.

I approach therapy with a trauma-informed, client-centered lens. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can be curious about their inner experiences at a pace that feels right for them. I integrate somatic practices, parts work, and mindfulness to help clients connect to themselves—not just cognitively, but emotionally and physically.

My approach to therapy is integrative, trauma-informed, and grounded in the mind-body connection. I blend Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and more to help clients safely explore their inner world, release stored trauma, and reconnect with their authentic self. I believe healing happens through deep connection, curiosity, and compassion—and I aim to create a space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered.

Go at your own pace. You don’t have to have it all figured out or share everything at once. Therapy isn’t about being “fixed”—it’s about creating space to get curious, feel supported, and explore what healing might look like for you.
