Supporting seniors through the unique challenges of aging, such as coping with loss, managing anxiety, and adjusting to life transitions, is incredibly fulfilling for me. I believe it’s essential for them to have a secure and nurturing environment, especially as they face the loss of their own support systems. This work takes on even greater significance for me as my own family members enter this stage of life.

The availability of online therapy has been a significant advancement in our field, particularly for seniors who may face mobility challenges or live in remote areas. It allows them to receive care in the comfort of their own home, ensuring that other health concerns do not interfere with the consistency or accessibility of their therapy. Given that multiple studies have shown that online therapy can achieve similar outcomes to in-person therapy across a variety of conditions, it serves as a wonderful alternative for this population.

I am a Clinical Psychologist, Nutrition and Health Coach, and Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional. With nearly 20 years of experience across various settings—including private practice, community mental health centers, nursing homes, hospitals, and academic institutions—I have had the privilege of working with seniors from diverse backgrounds. This has allowed me to help them navigate a wide range of concerns, drawing on their varied perspectives and experiences.

I am deeply committed to understanding each client’s unique story and tailoring therapeutic strategies that foster growth, resilience, and long-term well-being. My approach is highly collaborative, drawing on a blend of evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), among others. These practical tools are designed to empower clients on their own journey toward a healthier, more balanced life.
