I’ve been working with seniors for many years in a variety of settings. I enjoy helping people learn new ways of coping and thinking about things. Seniors have so much life experience and and motivation to feel better. Seeking therapy can be scary. My goal is to provide a safe space to heal and grow.
Online therapy is so effective because you can talk to a therapist in the privacy of your own home. You don’t have to drive to an appointment. In my experience, online therapy is just as effective as therapy in an office. You are more comfortable in your home.
I have experience with many issues facing seniors, including caregiver stress, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, isolation and loneliness, grief and loss, finding purpose and meaning in life, health issues, self esteem, family conflicts, and PTSD.
I can’t remember a time I didn’t want to be a therapist. I’ve always been empathetic and wanted to help people.

I have worked with seniors for over 20 years in a variety of settings: nursing homes, assisted livings, hospice, in-patient, and out patient.
I believe in a client centered approach. The relationship between client and therapist is an important part of the counseling and healing experience. We will work together to explore your goals for therapy and create a plan for you.
I’m a mom to 3 adult children. I’m a dog mom to 2 awesome dogs, Romeo and Emmie. You may hear or see them in the background sometimes! I’m a widow and feel I can relate to those who have lost a spouse/partner.
