Bianca is passionate about working with older adults, finding meaning in the connections formed through their life stories, wisdom, and resilience. She believes online therapy is especially beneficial for seniors, offering comfort, flexibility, and reduced isolation while fostering trust and open communication.

Her therapy style is grounded in empathy, openness, and deep listening, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore challenges at their own pace. She sees therapy as a collaborative journey, emphasizing trust, emotional presence, and strategies tailored to each person’s needs.

Bianca became a therapist out of a love for connecting with people and supporting them through challenges, seeing it as a true calling rather than just a career. She encourages newcomers to therapy to be patient, open, and self-compassionate, reminding them there’s no single “right” way to engage in the process. She wants people to know therapy is not only for crises but also for growth, self-discovery, and building a fulfilling life.

Outside of work, Bianca enjoys quality time with her husband, family, and friends, volunteering, attending church, reading, traveling, and appreciating life’s simple joys.

I believe online therapy can be really effective for older adults because it offers them flexibility and comfort. I’ve seen how being able to connect from home helps reduce the stress of traveling, especially if mobility is a challenge. It also allows me to meet them where they are, which makes it easier to build trust and have honest conversations. Plus, I think online therapy helps break down feelings of isolation by keeping them connected, and that’s something I care deeply about. It’s rewarding to see how technology, when used thoughtfully, can really open up new possibilities for support and growth.

I approach therapy sessions with a lot of openness and empathy. For me, it’s really important to create a safe space where the person feels heard and understood without judgment. I like to listen deeply, paying attention not just to what’s said but also to the feelings behind the words. I try to be flexible, meeting people where they are emotionally and adjusting my approach based on what they need in that moment. Most of all, I want my clients to feel supported and empowered to explore their challenges at their own pace. How do you usually approach your sessions?

When it comes to therapy, I really focus on building a genuine connection with the person I’m working with. I believe that trust and feeling safe are the foundation for any meaningful progress. I take time to really listen—not just to their words but to the emotions and stories behind them. I like to meet people where they are, honoring their pace and unique experiences, rather than pushing them toward quick solutions. For me, therapy is a collaborative journey, so I encourage open dialogue and work together to find strategies that feel right for them. I’m always mindful of creating a warm, supportive space where people can be honest, vulnerable, and hopeful about change.

If someone’s starting therapy for the first time, I’d tell them to be patient and gentle with themselves. I know it can feel a little intimidating or uncertain at first, but I really believe therapy is a safe space where you can explore whatever’s on your mind without judgment. I encourage people to be open and honest, even if it feels uncomfortable—that’s often where the real growth begins. And I remind them that it’s totally okay to take things at their own pace; there’s no “right” way to do therapy. For me, the most important thing is that they feel supported and understood as they start this journey
