It has been an honor and a pleasure to sit with all whom I have worked with in psychotherapy over the many years. I am most grateful to those who have shared this journey with me. To deeply listen, to hear the stories and the struggles as well as to then help guide towards healing has been profoundly rewarding. I have especially enjoyed working with older adults who bring life experience and knowledge to the therapy hour.
Research has shown online therapy is effective. Older adults who may not have had access to therapy in the past can now take advantage of this useful tool.
I have been a psychotherapist for over 40 years working in both agencies and private practice settings. I also served as adjunct and full time faculty where I taught and supervised students working on their master’s degrees in counseling.
Therapy is a relationship and it is most important that I help you feel safe and comfortable. During our initial meeting , I will want to hear about your concerns as well as learn about your personal history. Together we will make a plan that address the issues that seem most important to you. In the following weeks, I will be there to listen, support, and guide you in ways that will foster your growth and healing.
