I graduated from East Carolina University in 2000 with a Master of Social Work, specializing in mental health. Most Of my career has been spent in my own private practice in eastern North Carolina. I hope to continue my work with adults/seniors to enrich lives and partner with individuals to reclaim wellness and peace in their lives. I am extremely endeared to my clinical work with older adults and the special and unique stories they all offer. Life’s a journey of mountains and valleys, times of darkness and times of light, times of joy and times of pain. I am honored to walk on this journey with the patients I serve.
About I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of clinical experience in mental health. I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety, and trauma. I have a strong clinical background in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and also incorporate holistic approaches including mindfulness, meditation, and faith-based practices.
