Learn more about Sandra

I enjoy corresponding with people who have accumulated much life experience and may not be certain they have the right opportunities to share them.

Online therapy can be an effective tool to utilize with seniors in that it eliminates the concern for traveling to unfamiliar places and many feel most comfortable in their own environments rather than venturing too far away from home.

I have been a fully licensed clinical psychologist for over 30 years. I have worked in a variety of settings with many different demographic groups including seniors, families, veterans, incarcerated individuals, and school students to name a few.

I like to consider my approach to be client-centered. I strive to meet each client where they are, whether new to the therapeutic process of those who have had many years of counseling. My initial goal is to establish rapport, to help the client feel comfortable sharing their ideas with me and let them know how the process will work. Those who are new to therapy may be a little hesitant at first, so I try to keep the conversation light with some psycho-education thrown in, to reassure the client that their concerns are legitimate and that I care to listen to them and wish to be of help.
