Where Total Life clinicians can prescribe medication
Total Life prescription services are currently available only to patients who are physically located in Florida or Texas at the time of their visit. Therapy and counseling, which do not include prescriptions, are available in all 50 states and Washington, DC.

How prescribing works at Total Life

We confirm your location
You must be physically located in Florida or Texas at the time of every prescribing visit.

A licensed clinician evaluates you
Your clinician is licensed in the state where you are located and completes an evaluation by video visit before any prescribing decision.

Your clinician decides
Medication is prescribed only if it is clinically appropriate for you. A prescription is never guaranteed.

Your prescription is filled
Sent to the licensed pharmacy of your choice.
What Total Life does not do
- Prescribe controlled substances.
- Prescribe medication without an evaluation by a licensed clinician.
- Provide prescription services to patients located outside Florida or Texas.
- Provide any services to patients located outside the United States.
Who provides your care
Clinical services are delivered by licensed clinicians through Total Life’s affiliated professional practices. Total Life FL PA, Total Life CA PC and Total Life NJ PA.
Costs and coverage
We accept Medicare Part B, commercial plans subject to enrollments and self-pay for provider visits. Medication costs are paid separately at the pharmacy subject to your Part D or Pharmacy Plans.
