I deeply value the wisdom, the stories, the knowledge, and the heart that older adults bring to the table. I often feel this specific population gets left behind. It is my goal to ensure that does not happen by providing a safe and comfortable space to have your story be heard.

Why do you think online therapy is effective for seniors? Telehealth makes therapy accessible for ALL. It allows the therapist to meet the client exactly where they're at.

I understand online therapy isn't for all, and therefore I provide phone call sessions as well. No need to fear being tech savvy to partake in therapy services. How do you approach therapy sessions?

Creating a welcoming and non-judgmental environment, actively listening to the client, clarifying their goals and expectations, encouraging open communication, and working collaboratively to address their concerns while ensuring they feel heard and understood throughout the process; this often includes starting with a warm greeting, engaging in small talk to build rapport, and asking open-ended questions to guide the conversation towards their specific needs. What is your advice to someone who is starting therapy for the first time? Come with an open mind, be honest about your experiences, set realistic goals, and understand that it might take time to build trust with your therapist; don't hesitate to ask questions and share your concerns, as the most important thing is to find a therapist you feel comfortable with and can openly communicate with.
