What do you enjoy most about working with older adults? I enjoy working with older adults because in my practice older adults are looking for what they need to feel joy and peace, and how to incorporate more of that into their lives Why do you think online therapy is effective for older adults? I do believe online therapy is effective for older adults due to many factors which can be limited mobility, comfort of being in their own home, and wanting to feel more relaxed by using online therapy services.

How do you approach therapy sessions? As a Therapist I approach sessions with first getting to know the Client, and why they are seeking therapy at this time in their lives. The beginning stage of therapy can be difficult for many people, but by listening, and gaining a sense of where the Client has been, and where they want to be in their lives, sets the groundwork for a productive therapeutic alliance.

What is your advice to someone who is starting therapy for the first time? I understand it can be difficult to open up about ones self. This is not an easy journey, however it can be the most rewarding, and powerful thing one can do for themselves.
