I find joy and fulfillment in working with seniors because of their unique life experiences, wisdom, and resilience. I admire their strength and perspective, shaped by decades of overcoming challenges and achieving milestones. It is a privilege to build the therapeutic relationship.

Also to help understand their individual needs and navigate life's transitions. Why do you think online therapy is effective for seniors? Online therapy offers a convenient, accessible, and comfortable way to receive mental health support.

This is even more important for those that may face mobility issues, transportation challenges or difficulty leaving their residence due to health concerns. Online therapy can also reduce the stigma one may feel about seeking help. Telemental services provide a supportive and inclusive space for seniors to address their mental health , cope with life changes and improve overall well-being.

Can you share some details about your experience? Part of my work history includes being the supervisor in Atlantic County, NJ for Adult Protective Services. Elder abuse, mental health and caregiver support have always been an important issue to me.

Another significant aspect is helping clients with growing their social connections. Can you provide details on your approach to therapy? My approach is a person-centered, strengths-based and empathetic.

I work with the client to identify ways to make them feel empowered. I believe in creating a safe and non-judgmental space where seniors feel heard, validated, and supported. I tailor my approach to each individual's unique needs and goals, incorporating evidence-based practices.
